The code to the “_supersecret” RAR file in the SOMA installation folder has been solved. In just a few short days since release, Steam forum user NeRv managed to crack the code. He has also shared the location of each well-hidden snippet of the security code hidden in-game used to open the file. Inside is not the SOMA movie as previously speculated, but a collection of concept works – early documents, short videos of the game while it was still in development, concept art, and more.
The file has a whole lot of awesome (and silly) content, like design notes from the team, clips of bugs, naked men jiggling their bits, and discarded character designs. If you’ve beaten the game, definitely check out the contents of the file. It’s something else (just look at the image above).
The “_supersecret” RAR file can be found within the SOMA installation folder and can be unlocked with a RAR program with the code “19PzQ8arc11rkdv“. Have fun looking at all that cool (and weird) stuff!
