Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice arrives on Xbox Game Pass just in time for the holidays. With a plethora of glowing reviews (including our own) and awards, it only stands to reason that Hellblade would receive the red carpet treatment from Xbox, offering access for no additional charge than the subscription.
Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice delved into topics of mental health, life, death, beauty, pain, love, and loss. The sound design was beautifully and frighteningly immersive, alongside dream-like and nightmarish visuals. Each frame of the game could be a painting at times, and the developers at Ninja Theory clearly put their blood, sweat, and tears into its presentation. Its debut on Xbox Game Pass will be on December 17, which will hopefully encourage many more to play one of this year’s most important games.
If you don’t have an Xbox One, Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice is currently available on PlayStation 4 and PC as well.
