Wayward Manor is author Neil Gaiman’s first venture into the world of video games and puts the players in the role of a ghost that has to solve puzzles in order to scare the inhabitants of a mansion. It was originally delayed in order to apply more polish, but now the development team felt ready to announce a release date: July 15, 2014.
The game is being developed by a studio known as “The Odd Gentlemen”, whose previous works include an app by the name of Flea Symphony and a game known as The Misadventures of P.B. Winterbottom and Slap Happy Sam’s Stageshow; not very impressive, but at least Winterbottom has a somewhat similar, comedic style to Wayward Manor, so there is some experience present. The game will release for PC and Mac and will be available for purchase on both Steam and the Humble Store.
I believe this might end up being a very interesting title, so I will definitely give it a shot.
