Gecco is not done with Silent Hill just yet. The figure manufacturer has revealed the first of two entries in their Silent Hill 2016 line, and it’s a green variant of Robbie the Rabbit.
Green Robbie will retail for $150 and release this March in and outside of Japan. He will be equipped with the same goodies as the other three color variants, but sport a gold pipe and a bloody red chainsaw with “together we are one” written on it. What the hell is that supposed to me? I don’t know. It’s a creepy bunny, what the hell more do you want?
If you missed out on the specifications of the previous Robbie figures, they’re 34cms tall, made from ABS/PVC, sculpted by Shinya Akao (HEADLONG) and painted by Norifumi Dohi (FRANKEN) & Kenji Ando. Its paint job also makes it look fuzzy.
Here’s hoping Gecco continues releasing Silent Hill figures. They do a pretty good job, and I’d really like to see a Closer, James, and Valtiel figure someday. I missed out on the Red Boot Bubble Head Nurse, so here’s hoping they re-release that one. The former US distributor for these figures, Toy Munkey, royally screwed up last time around so it would be great to get some access to those old Comic Com exclusive.
