Gecco Corp., the maker of the Silent Hill series line of figures — Red Pyramid Thing, Bubble Head Nurse, Robbie the Rabbit, and Heather Mason, are back for a new horror game monster. NightCry publisher Playism announced today that the Scissorwalker, the antagonist of the game NightCry, will be available in 1/6 scale figurine form.
Silent Hill environment and creature designer Masahiro Ito returns as well to Gecco to oversea the figure’s production same as he did with the Silent Hill line, which were largely based on his original designs from the games. The Scissorwalker was created by Ito for NightCry, and his art is on display with the game’s limited physical release box art. It’s stunning.
The Scissorwalker figure will premier at SDCC and be on display at booth #4931 throughout the weekend. Retail pricing and a release date has not yet been given. Based on the image provided, it looks great. I wasn’t very happy with the game itself, but Ito’s contributions to the Clock Tower spiritual successor keep on giving. I’d happily display this baby alongside my other Gecco monsters (and best boy nendoroids).
