Electronic Arts and Spicy Horse have announced that Alice: The Madness Returns is now on the iTunes app store – in app form. The app will soon be available for Android OS, too – for those of you who aren’t Apple iOS fans.
Don’t have either one of those? Then the interactive storybook app is also coming to Facebook. And who doesn’t have that, amirite? You’re a fan of Rely on Horror too, right?
From EA’s press release
Today, action gamers can fall into Wonderland…right on their mobile devices! Alice: Madness Returns interactive storybook is now available in the US for [iOS devices] and will be coming soon to Android Devices and Facebook.
This interactive storybook bridges the gap between American McGee’s Alice and Alice: Madness Returns. The app tells the story of Alice’s time at Rutledge Asylum, where barbaric psychological treatments sent her spiraling into madness and have summoned visions of Wonderland. This app gives players the opportunity to discover a brand new chapter in Alice’s story through a truly unique experience.
…The app also includes an offer for a $10.00 discount code to players redeemable with the pre-order of Alice: Madness Returns for console or for PC at the EA Store.
The app’s ‘story’ was written and illustrated by the team at Spicy Horse, and was developed in collaboration with PadWorx Digital Media.
