Folks prone to jump scares better prepare, as Five Nights at Freddy’s VR: Help Wanted has released today on PC via Steam and on PlayStation 4.
Five Nights at Freddy’s VR: Help Wanted combines new and past scenes from throughout the FNAF series for a re-telling of events for owners of a VR headset. Think of it as a greatest hits collection but with better graphics and intuitive controls. The product page promises the return of series favorite characters and additional unlockables. Given developer Scott Cawthon’s commitment to series lore, I wouldn’t be surprised if secrets about the future of the series are hidden inside of Help Wanted.
If you have the appropriate hardware needed and the constitution to endure lots of screaming animatronic monsters, Five Nights at Freddy’s VR: Help Wanted is available on both platforms for $29.99.
Cawthon’s collaboration with Steel Wool Studios on Five Nights at Freddy’s VR: Help Wanted is just one of several FNAF projects in the works. There’s of course the movie, an AR game, and a AAA-scale game in the works too. FNAF fans have a lot to look forward to.
