The original Five Nights at Freddy‘s released last August bringing about a game that’s loaded in jump scares for a pretty low price. While I’m not a fan it, I respect that it perfectly appeals to a horror audience that seeks instant gratification scares. The Five Nights at Freddy’s sequel released only three months later, riding the hype and success of the first game.
And now the third entry in the Five Nights at Freddy‘s series is being teased by developer Scott Cawthon. Posted on Scott’s site was the above image, showing a certain character still lingers after the events of the second game. It’s also worth noting that the file name for the image is “fnaf3”.
Why a sequel tease so soon after the second game’s release? Because why the hell not? If popular Youtubers and their followings enjoy acting scared every 5 seconds and are clamoring for more, why not indulge them and give them another Freddy’s? I honestly do not get the appeal of these games, but whatever. If you like them, another one is on the way. So get excited, I guess.
