Five days left on the clock and Pathologic has already surpassed its funding goal

Pathologic

The remake of the Russian cult-classic “plot-driven survival open-world adventure game” Pathologic is proceeding well. With five days left on the clock, the game has already surpassed its funding goal by more than $20,000.

Ice Pick Lodge set out on their quest to raise money for the remake last month and the campaign was off to a great start. In the time it took me to research and write an article about it, $70,000 had already being raised. The goal was to achieve a minimum of $250,000, but now that the minimum has been surpassed, there are still a few stretch goals to look forward to.

If, in the next five days, the studio surpasses $300,000, then the town the game takes place in will be greatly expanded, for example. At $400,000, the team at Ice Pick Lodge intends to include lucid dreaming into the narrative and at $550,000 they promise to create a small prequel story.

Hopefully a few of these goals can still be met before time runs out, but at least it’s now very likely that this wonderful game will make a return.
