It’s not a feature length film as fans speculated, but the live action SOMA project by Imagos Films has been revealed today. The first part in a SOMA prequel series has released today on YouTube from Frictional Games, following PATHOS-II crew members Reed and Golaski investigating the facility’s structure gel leakage. The two come across a robot and things get … verbally heated.
If you couldn’t get enough of SOMA, Transmission #1 starts this live action prequel series off to an interesting start. The events of PATHOS-II prior to Simon’s own story did sound pretty chilling, so I’m glad we’ll get to experience them in some form. Frictional has no revealed how long this series will be and the frequency in which episodes will release.
