trivard676In the latest issue of Famitsu, Keisuke Kikuchi, the series producer of Fatal Frame, stated that he expects to unveil the title he and his team are currently working on.
“I can’t discuss exact details yet, but we are working hard on something right now. I think we’ll be able to make an announcement soon, so I hope people look forward to it.”
Kikuchi’s announcement came in the middle of an interview with Tecmo Koei president Yoichi Erikawa and several other game producers. It should be noted that Fatal Frame IV: Mask of the Lunar Eclipse was launched for the Wii in 2008, but failed to recieve an overseas release.
Nintendo showed media from a new Fatal Frame title back at the September 2010 conference in Japan, but no further information has come out since then.
Here’s hoping that when Kikuchi says ‘soon’ he means ‘really soon.’
