Evil Dead: The Game Finally Gets Release Date of May 13th

At long last, Bruce Campbell’s “whole immersive kind of dealio” finally has a release date: May 13th of this year! Announced during the 2020 Game Awards, Evil Dead: The Game has been long, long in the pipeline with series star Bruce Campbell famously rambling about it during an interview all the way back in 2018, and we just can’t wait to get our hands on it.

In case you’re unfamiliar, Evil Dead: The Game is a multiplayer co-op shooter set in the world of Sam Raimi’s classic horror-comedy films with playable appearances by almost everyone major (everything besides the 2013 remake) and Bruce Campbell reprising his beloved role as Ash, with Ray Santiago and Dana DeLorenzo returning to voice Pablo and Kelly from the Ash vs Evil Dead TV series. Along with this, players can also take control of one of the Kandarian Demons in order to ruin a perfectly good day for our heroes. It looks like a hella good time.

We just have a couple more weeks to wait, so now is as good a time as any to bust out your film collection and prep before fighting the hordes of Deadites with your pals! Again, Evil Dead: The Game releases on May 13th, across PlayStation 4/5, PC, Switch, and Xbox Systems.
