Today DmC joins Resident Evil 6 as another Capcom Special Edition to skip the U.S.. The DmC: Son of Sparda Edition has been announced for an exclusive Gamestop release in Europe and Australia (as well as EB Games and Micromania, both owned by Gamestop).
The Son of Sparda Edition comes with the game, a replica of Dante’s necklace, the Samurai DLC skin pack, weapon upgrade points, and spiffy white packaging. This release will be available alongside the game’s January 15th release (Jan. 25th for PC).
Outside of the necklace this edition is pretty take it or leave it. U.S. fans can still get one of those if they preorder through the Capcom Store. If I had to pick, I’d still go with Gamestop America‘s Vergil’s Downfall offering. More content, less plastic.
