If you’re looking for more Dark Souls-related material while waiting for DSIII to release in the West, Bandai Namco just released an animated short called “The Witches”. Lead by director and actor Eli Roth, this 3 minute short takes a quick peek at the gore and frightening world Dark Souls inhabits. While fans in the comments are arguing about whether it’s related to the lore of the games or if it even fits in the aesthetic, if you’re interested in what did inspire this cartoon, there’s also a behind the scenes video.
Dark Souls 3 releases worldwide on April 12th. The game is already out in Japanese territories.
