The new Call of Cthulhu game is still happening, folks, and it’s even got an E3 2017 trailer. Can you hear him now?
The psychological horror “RPG-investigation” game adapts our good old pal H.P. Lovecraft’s eldritch lore for a new story surrounding the Great Dreamer, Cthulhu. A detective Edward Pierce, players seek answers surrounding the death of an acclaimed artist and her family on an isolated island. Based on the new trailer, it looks like the inhabitants of this island like praying to the oldest of gods and have no problem evoking their power. As a result, Edward is in for some cosmic horrors.
Call of Cthulhu is developed by Cyanide (Styx series) and is due for release on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC later this year.
