Yep, it’s official. Dead Rising 4 is coming to Xbox One and Windows 10. Set in Willamette, the city from the first game, and staring Frank West, Dead Rising 4 looks to be bigger, gorier, and more… Christmasy than every before. The trailer was mostly pre-rendered cinematic, but there was a few moments of gameplay within as well. It’s still unknown if this game is a remake or actually the next installment in the series, but it is worth noting how young Frank looks compared to how he looked in Dead Rising 2: Off The Record and Dead Rising 3: Super Ultra Arcade Edition. That said, a big feature in the trailer was Frank’s smart phone, which seems like a sign that it’s set in modern day, while the original Dead Rising was set in it’s release year of 2006. Guess we’ll have to wait and see. It releases Holiday of this year, which is awesome.
