Despite the spotlight of this year’s E3 primarily being on the new consoles, the PC still has a very strong presence. Among that presence is the much anticipated DayZ Standalone, which is on the show floor with the most current pre-alpha build.
The developers look like they’ve made huge strides with the game since it was last shown. The new animations for both the player characters and the zombies look a lot better than the mod incarnation. Also, the new equipment UI looks incredibly slick and easy to use, at least compared to what we’re used to using in the DayZ mod.
