Dread X Collection 2 Release Date Trailer Confirms August Launch

After the successful experiment of having 10 different developers make 10 different short horror games for the first Dread X Collection earlier this year, Dread XP is at it again with the recently announced Dread X Collection 2.

Upping the ante, Dread X Collection 2 will feature 12 different developers this time, with many returning from the first collection, and some new ones entering the fold. Among the developers involved are World of Horror‘s Panstasz, Dusk‘s David Szymanski, SCP: Blackout‘s Mahelyk, Vidas Games of the Timore series, and many more. You can find the full details of all the games and devs included in this post here.

The collection is set to drop later this month on August 21st, and the Steam page is live now so you can wishlist and be ready when it releases. The game has also received a release date trailer, which you can view below.

Keep your eyes peeled for a full review later this month once DXC2 is in our hands, where we’ll see how well it fares compared to the first. I’m personally very excited to see how they can improve the experience after what they may have learned from the release of the first Dread X Collection.

Disclosure: As a note of transparency, Rely On Horror’s own Rourke Keegan contributed some art for Dread X Collection 2, but this will in no way affect the fair coverage of the title from our site.
