The multiplayer closed beta to DOOM is set to release for Wolfenstein: The New Order owners come March 31. From then until April 3, 2016, those interested in seeing what the new DOOM has to offer ahead of release can take part in two multiplayer modes within two maps. To commemorate the release date’s reveal, Bethesda has dropped a new multiplayer trailer showing off just how violent the game will be online.
DOOM multiplayer looks like a faster paced version of Halo with a lot more violence. Want to turn into a demon but your strict religious family forbids it? You can do so in DOOM, and then use your powers to eviscerate your foes. It looks pretty neat, but if it’ll be fun and well-balanced is yet to be known.
If you purchased Wolfenstein: The New Order at launch, all you need to do to gain access to the beta is visit http://neworder.wolfenstein.com/doom. The closed multiplayer beta will be available on all platforms. For more details, visit here.
