Doom 4 is coming! Yes? No? Maybe? Well, at least it hasn’t been cancelled for good. For the second time in less than six months, Bethesda has gone on the defense and shot down rumours of Doom 4’s cancellation.
This wouldn’t be the first time that Doom 4 has been pronounced dead, either. In late October, a rumour stated that the game had been indefinitely postponed. When people wait so long for their favourite series to kick out another game with no news on it, we automatically think the worst, don’t we?
Last week, AllGamesBeta reported a rumour that the development of Doom 4 had ended. At the same time, the site showed several images from the game. They looked pretty neat – but according to id’s Matt Hooper, they aren’t even close to what the game has in store.
[The images] have nothing to do with what you’re gonna see in Doom 4. When we officially show things you’ll see awesome…fans will be happy.
Please…don’t leave us hanging. We’ve already waited so long!
