A new trailer for Doom 3 BFG Edition has come from QuakeCon 2012. In it, the “Lost Mission” exclusive to the BFG Edition is shown. The typical Doom staples are here: weird looking demons, metal hallways, chainsaws, and some more demons. The “Lost Mission” will include eight new levels. Anyone want to take a bet and say that the “Lost Mission” will contain some clues about Doom 4?
While some people may see this game as a glorified HD port, I see it as a long awaited opportunity to play the game with a friend via co-op–something I was unable to do all those years ago on my offline Xbox. With every Doom title included, new content exclusive to this release, and graphical improvements, I look forward to loading my BFG come this October.
