We’re rapidly approaching the release of Doom. I’ve been entertaining the thought of going back and replaying the classic games, up to Doom 3. And I think that’s exactly what I’m going to do, starting really soon.
And speaking of Doom 3, fans can now play Doom 3 BFG Edition on the Xbox One. But, the game’s backwards compatibility is disc-exclusive. So dust off those old discs if you still have them! Unfortunately, I don’t, so I’ll have to seek out a copy.
As is always the case with backwards compatible titles on Xbox One, all you have to do is pop in the disc and the install prompt for the game will show up in your games list (same applies for digital-only titles).
Will you be replaying the Doom games before the new one hits?
