Don’t rule out Castlevania: The Complete Chronicles just yet

TGS 2011 is quickly approaching and Sony’s planning on going all-out at this year’s show. On top of their expected strong PS3 line-up (with three unannounced games) and even some titles for the still-hanging-in-there PSP (with one unannounced game), Sony will also be unloading a significant amount of titles for their upcoming portable powerhouse, Playstation Vita.

Out of the Vita’s line-up of titles set to have a showing at TGS, 18 of them will be completely new to everyone. Yeah, there’s going to be 18 unannounced titles on-hand. Which brings us back to Castlevania: The Complete Chronicles, which was part of a huge, leaked list of upcoming Playstation Vita titles that surfaced on the week of Gamescom. As expected, we didn’t hear anything whatsoever about any new Castlevania project from the event.

So that brings us to TGS 2011 taking place later this month. With 18 brand new Vita games set to be revealed, this could be the venue where we finally get to see the next big Castlevania title. It would be perfect timing too, since the event isn’t too far from the series upcoming 25th anniversary on September 26th.
