The Last of Us is almost here. Naughty Dog’s latest will be launching exclusively on the PlayStation 3 on June 14. I know many of you may already have your copies pre-ordered from your preferred retailer. But there are some who prefer to own games digitally perhaps. I know you’re out there!
The Last of Us will be available digitally on the PlayStation Store on the same day the retail copy hits. You can pre-order the digital edition now. Doing so will technically get you an early copy of the game without having to trek out to your nearest GameStop for a midnight launch. The digital edition will be available right on midnight. What’s neat is that, once the game reaches a little over half of its download time, you can actually start playing it.
The game’s Season Pass is also up for pre-order now, for $19.99. Doing so will get you the three upcoming DLC packs at a discounted price. One of the packs will be single-player only DLC. So, yay for that! But that’s not all. If you pre-order the Season Pass you’ll also get access to the following Day 1 bonuses: increased crafting speed, increased healing speed, 9mm reload speed upgrade, rifle clip capacity upgrade, and Grounded, which is a special documentary detailing the making of the game.
Have you pre-ordered the game yet? Will you be going physical or digital? Sound off in the comments below!
