Devolver Digital, possibly the world’s goofiest publisher, has several of their titles on sale this weekend through Steam. My favorite murder-sim, Hotline Miami, can be purchased for just $2.49, and Shadow Warrior has been discounted to $26.79. The Serious Sam series is also 85% off.
I’ve reviewed both Hotline Miami and Shadow Warrior, and I can vouch for their awesomeness. If you’re looking for two games that the media forgot to blame for real-world violence, then look no further. I’m surprised we’re still blaming Grand Theft Auto for everything. With Ryan Gosling’s performance in Drive and the release of Hotline Miami, it’s amazing that we’re still a functioning society. He’s the sexisest sociopath.
