Looks like Capcom is continuing their support for iOS devices. This time, it’s Devil May Cry’s turn to hit the iPhone, or iPod Touch. Flipping the bird to the once anticipated Devil May Cry PSP title, Devil May Cry 4: Refrain will be saying hello to the iOS platforms in late January for a price of $6.99. But, you may be asking if this is an original entry or a follow up to Devil May Cry 4…the answer is: no. Devil May Cry 4: Refrain is simply a port of the console title which starred the ever so popular Nero.
Of course, it wouldn’t be wise to expect the game to be here in its entirety. But what we will get is 10 levels of the action we’re used to from the franchise, albeit in portable form. You can expect to perform some of Nero’s trademark moves like using his devil arm as well as weapons and guns from the main game. And what about Dante? Well, Capcom is looking to release an update for the game, post-launch, that will make the iconic demon-slayer playable. New modes are also said to be added via updates. We’ll be sure to have a review up of the game once it hits so look out for that. For now, enjoy some screens below and a gameplay video.
