Sometimes important news manages to go by unnoticed, which must have also been the case with the upcoming HD release of Dementium II, since I only noticed it was on the Steam store today. This High-definition re-release of the 2010 Nintendo DS and PC game will be released on December 17.
In case you’re unfamiliar with the game, it follows William Redmoor, a man who has recently awoken from a coma and is now trapped inside a run-down hospital with all kinds of monstrosities. It was the sequel to 2007’s Dementium: The Ward, which while being a similar affair to its successor, didn’t receive the same positive reception and was never ported to the PC. In terms of gameplay, it combines action-adventure with horror, meaning you’re going to be moving through eerie environments while fighting off gruesome monsters.
