Deep Down is still a mysterious game with many of the details shrouded in darkness. All we really know is that it looks like Dark Souls (yay!) and it’s absolutely gorgeous. But this morning, Yoshinori Ono revealed to us that the game will be free to play and a beta will be available for interested fans once the Japanese PS4 launch is closer.
Besides its dark beauty, Deep Down is set in 2094. Wrap that around your head. It will feature online multiplayer, and the dungeons will be randomly generated, as well as equipment and enemies. If these promises ring true, then we’re going to have quite the PS4 exclusive monster here. Ono also confirmed the game will be playable at the Tokyo Game Show.
I’m personally extremely excited for this game and will be eagerly waiting for more news. Is anyone else feasting to plunge their blades into that beautiful dragon thing?
