Dead Space Ignition has been priced and dated on Xbox 360, releasing on Xbox Live on October 13th for 400 Microsoft Points. The game is not traditional Dead Space style, instead being a text-based “Choose-Your-Story” Adventure Horror Game with a few minigames here and there. Dead Space Ignition however does give you access to some items once Dead Space 2 comes out, based how your story goes you come out with different endings and collectibles, plus a chance to get an exclusive suit. The PSN Release Date hasn’t been given as this information comes from Major Tom of Microsoft, though you can assume it’ll be coming out the same week and be similarly priced. It’ll be interesting to see how this one sells, being a text-based game (which aren’t too popular these days out of Japan) but also sporting the Dead Space IP name, and also it releases on the same day as the another big Xbox Live Release, duel-releasing with Sonic the Hedgehog 4: Episode 1.
