Grab your Plasma Cutter and get ready to cut off some limbs, because Dead Space is free on PC through EA’s Origin.
The promotion is part of Origins ‘on the house’ program where they provide free games to those who have singed up to the service. Dead Space is free for a limited time, but once you download the game, you can play it whenever you want.
If you haven’t had the chance to play Dead Space, or have no idea what a Dead Space is, I will give you a quick run down. You play as Isaac Clarke, an engineer who is responding to a distress signal from the USG Ishimura, a planet-cracker class ship used for mining and smelting planets and moons.
Of course, things aren’t going well on the Ishimura and monsters known as ‘Necromorphs’ have taken over the ship and killed lots of people. Isaac must use mining equipment to cut the limbs of these nightmare creatures and uncover the secrets of their origins.
