Dead Space 2 is just coming out and already we have the first word on downloadable content. The first DLC will be called “Dead Space 2: Severed”, which tells a separate story that happens at the same time as the events of Dead Space 2 except following the two main leads of Dead Space Extraction. Gabe Weller and Lexine Murdock seem to have survived the ending of Dead Space Extraction and now live together on The Sprawl with Gabe being a security guard. When the Necromorphs strike, Gabe tries to get himself and Lexine to safety. Players take on the role of Gabe in two extra single player chapters. The price and release date are not set, and so far it’s only confirmed for PS3 and 360 with no PC word, but we’ll bring you more as it comes.
