Capcom has officially released the story trailer for the highly anticipated Dead Rising Deluxe Remaster, ahead of its September 19th launch. The remaster brings the iconic zombie-slaying adventure back with enhanced graphics, modern controls, and several quality-of-life updates. Fans of the series can soon step into the shoes of Frank West once again.
Set in the fictional town of Willamette, Colorado, the game follows freelance photojournalist Frank West, who enters a shopping mall in search of a scoop. The mall is overrun by zombies, and Frank must uncover the truth behind the outbreak while surviving for 72 hours. Capcom has upgraded the original Dead Rising with realistic facial expressions, detailed textures, and enhanced environments, offering a fresh look at the beloved classic.
In addition to visual improvements, the remaster includes revamped controls, auto-saves, and a fully voiced cast. Players can expect the same open-world gameplay as before. This allows them to use everything from baseball bats to household objects in their fight for survival. The game will also challenge players to rescue survivors while dealing with not just zombies, but also human psychopaths.
Dead Rising Deluxe Remaster will be available digitally on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC on September 19th. The game will receive a physical release on November 8th.
