Capcom has just revealed new information about Dead Rising 3. And with its launch coming quite soon, along with the Xbox One, we can expect much more to come. For now, we have brand new co-op details for the game, as well as a returning element fans are sure to love.
First off, we have the co-op. Nick’s partner in crime will be a new character named Dick. Both players will be able to spread their mayhem across the game world even if they’re not anywhere near each other. Or you can stick to a classic co-op feel and just stay together and slay hordes upon hordes of zombies together.
Co-op in the game will also take on a non-linear format. Your progress will carry over from game to game and affect single-player as well, meaning you can bypass chapters in your own game by beating them with a buddy in their game. Going back to your own single player session and reaching a chapter you already cleared with a friend will then be able to be skipped if you so wish.
Lastly, we have the return of the Psychos. These enemies will each represent one of the seven deadly sins. You can check out a couple of them in the gallery below, along with a bunch of screens showing off the co-op in action and the awesome costumes you can wear with your buddy (pictured above).
