Dead Island Riptide is now available for purchase. If you haven’t already read my review, you should take a gander at it. In proper release fashion, Deep Silver has released a launch trailer for Riptide. It’s actually a pretty damn good trailer if you ask me. Sure, it makes the game’s story appear way more substantial than it actually is, but that’s how Dead Island rolls. Hopefully the next game will step it up significantly. I quite like the ideas in Dead Island, they’re just plagued by wonky execution.
Dead Island Riptide is available on Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and PC.
