If you pre-ordered Escape Dead Island from Gamestop/EB Games, you received a key for the Dead Island 2 beta. The beta site has gone live, and it’s been discovered that Playstation 4 will get the beta a full month before any of the other platforms. There’s no word on exactly when the beta will launch, however.
But let’s say you’re fortunate enough to have both an Xbox One and a Playstation 4 and a PC and decide that even though you bought Escape Dead Island from Gamestop for the PC, you want to play the beta on the PS4 – that can be arranged.
You can change your selected platform. To do that, go to [site] and enter the original code found in the bottom of your Escape Dead Island receipt and click Submit.
The offer was Gamestop/EB Games exclusive, so here’s hoping that if you were planning on registering for the beta, you held onto your receipt…
