The other night at The Game Awards, Behavior Interactive showcased the 10th upcoming update for Dead By Daylight, dubbed ‘Darkness Among Us’. The update comes with the usual map, survivor, and killer combo.
The new map, Mount Ormond Resort, is set in snowy woods. The trailer showcases two survivors fleeing towards a cabin (likely a key location in the map) from an unknown attacker. Upon reaching cover, it is revealed that one of the survivors transforms into the new killer. Thus we meet TheLegion, a killer whose central gimmick is the ability to disguise itself as one of the survivors. Along with this new killer, we know that the new survivor character is named Jeff Johanson. Johanson has been described as a quiet artist whose observational skills make him quite adept at hiding. Knowing who he’s running from, that’s going to come in handy.
Additionally, Director Mathieu Cote announced that dedicated servers will be coming to the game in the coming months. He also verified that players can expect to see ongoing updates to the game for another five years.
Darkness Among Us is set to release on December 11th. Have you been keeping up with Dead By Daylight, and are you interested in this coming update? Let us know in the comments below.
