Daymare: 1998’s Latest Trailer Showcases One of its Playable Characters

Hades

Earlier today, Invader Studios dropped a trailer for their upcoming Daymare: 1998, this time focusing in on Liev (codenamed H.A.D.E.S), an agent for the villainous Hexacore Corporation. Additionally, we get to see a lot more clips of the game’s different locales, as well as some more cinematic shots. Overall, the game’s production value seems to have increased pretty drastically, especially in comparison to some of the early trailers.

It had been announced a while ago that Daymare will feature three playable characters including the aforementioned Liev, with the other two being Raven, a discharged NASA pilot who now works for Hexacore, and Samuel, a local ranger of the Redcrest Mountains. I think it is safe to say that we will eventually see trailers for the other two cast members at some point before launch.

Furthermore, in the official news post on Invader Studio’s website, a future gameplay trailer was promised ‘soon’. Whether or not this is referring to a future character trailer, or perhaps one showcasing a part of Liev’s portion of the game is unknown. However, considering the summer release date promised at the end of this trailer, I think it’s fair to say that we’ll be seeing a lot more of the Daymare in the coming weeks.

Daymare: 1998 will be coming to the Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and Steam. You can wishlist the game on Steam here.
