Daylight, Zombie Studio’s upcoming horror game for the PlayStation 4 and PC, has just had a brand new trailer released. This trailer lightly teases and introduces a new character that will interact with Sarah – Sarah being the protagonist of the game voiced by Jessica Chobot. Whoever he is, it seems like he knows Sarah and she might have some ties to the mysterious hospital that she becomes trapped in.
Some new areas within Mid Island Hospital and some items – other than Sarah’s trusty and mysteriously long-lasting cellphone – can be seen being used by the game’s star. Other than that, not much else is shown aside for some B-roll of some creepy hallways. The trailer is a bit short, but it reveals that Sarah’s story is not just one of walking through a scary place without an overarching narrative, as I was led to believe when I played the game at PAX East.
Daylight is said to release in early 2014. I expect we’ll get a release date once Atlus releases another trailer or two.
