Daylight set to release in April, neat Twitch feature revealed

Daylight is one of my most anticipated horror games of this year. For PlayStation 4 owners, it’s shaping up to the perfect game to move on to after facing the horrors of Outlast. One thing to note, though, is that it won’t be free for PlayStation Plus members. I only say this because a lot of people seem to be under the impression that it’ll be free like Outlast was. But it will at least have a discounted price for Plus members.

The game has been confirmed for an April release, with an official date expected to be revealed soon. Another thing that’s been confirmed is a neat Twitch feature the developer’s integrating into the game. Basically, you’ll be able to trigger sounds to scare the broadcaster in his or her game. To do this you’ll have to input certain words into the comments in the stream. An example used was the word “meow” which then, of course, triggered a cat sound. Sure, that may not sound like it could be scary, but when you’re deeply immersed in the game’s procedurally generated world, and a random sound like that comes out of nowhere, you’re sure to get a tiny bit jumpy.
