Daylight gets a new release date

Zombie Studios’ upcoming PC/PlayStation 4 first-person, procedurally-generated survival horror game, Daylight, has been pushed back a few weeks. Originally planned for release next week on April 8, the game will now be hitting on April 29. The reason being to ensure it’s as scary an experience as it can be. The team has released the following statement:

“The way Daylight is developed is completely different because of its procedural generation. In a lot of ways it really helped the team by streamlining the environment creation, but it’s taken extra time to make sure all the scare cues are properly implemented for maximum player effect.”

To make up for the delay, ATLUS has just announced that the game will be available at a discounted price for a limited time. For two weeks, it’ll be $9.99 for PlayStation Plus subscribers and $11.99 for non-subbers. For PC owners, if you pre-order the game starting now you’ll be able to get it for $9.99. After this discount window is over, the game will go back to its normal price of $14.99.
