Dark Souls 2 is getting ported to the Playstation 4 and Xbox One soon. It’ll feature the base game, all the DLC, and new content all in one package.
Dark Souls 2: Scholar of the First Sin is also getting a graphical update, improved multiplayer, and new story/lore content. For someone that never played Dark Souls 2, it’s a pretty amazing deal. However if you’re like me and played the game on PC, you’re kinda getting the short end of the stick. This new version of the game is indeed coming to PC as well, however it’s not sharing resources with the original Dark Souls 2 either. So Dark Souls 2 PC and Dark Souls 2: Scholar of the First Sin players can’t play together at all. The ‘upgraded’ version is essantially a full priced patch on PC.
