Looks like Hollywood has extended its grasp to yet another popular video game property. Capcom’s Devil May Cry franchise will be making the jump to the big screen.
Screen Gems has acquired the license to develop a film based on the hit franchise and Kyle Ward has already been picked to pen the script. The basic premise of the plot “revolves around the character of Dante, who avenges his mother’s murder by killing off demons”.
