JBoc924It would’ve been nice to have seen Corpse Party release this week, just in time for Halloween yesterday. Its publisher, XSEED, feels this way too. But alas, it has missed this launch window and will now be seeing release sometime in November, as it’s just been confirmed. XSEED offers their explanation, and apology, for missing a Halloween release with the following statement:
We’re sorry to have missed Halloween, but we wanted to make certain everything was perfect before unleashing this demon upon the English-speaking world.
Delays are nothing new to us, so we’re not really all that surprised once a game gets met with one. But delays don’t always result in a better product, or vice versa. But it’s nice to see the publisher truly trying their best at making a solid survival horror experience for the PSP. You won’t be seeing this game in actual stores, though, as it’s a download-only title exclusive to the handheld’s PlayStation Store. You can check out the game’s brand new trailer below.
