Contagion has received quite a chunky update recently, adding two new maps and general gameplay tweaks and changes. The multiplayer zombie title will be adding the map ‘Biotec’, a remake of a map found in Contagion‘s early days as Source mod Zombie Panic, and the most popular map from Steam Workshop, ‘Stone Creek’. The two maps are now in circulation on the game’s servers.
As for tweaks and changes, melee has received a much-needed upgrade. Bladed weapons now have a chance to dismember and behead zombies, and weapon balancing has been improved. Some exploits and glitches have been addressed, along with improvements to the AI navmesh.
