In an Ask Me Anything post on Reddit, Precursor Games COO Shawn Jackson addressed concerns fans had regarding Shadow of the Eternals crowdfunding. More specifically, what the fate of the game will be should they not meet their Kickstarter goal.
“Since we do not have any other source of funding, it is unlikely,”
With the project currently sitting at $114,000 out of the goal of $1,350,000 at the time of this post and only 19 days to go, it’s tall order. Though Shawn also responded to concerns people had with regards to refunds should the project not receive adequate funding.
“If the project does not reach it’s goal on Kickstarter, we will refund all pledges made through PayPal on our own site,”
Shawn also went on to justify their reasoning on bringing in controversal industry figure Denis Dyack, as well as a plethora of other questions. Check out the whole AMA thread here.
