Despite its rocky launch, Friday the 13th: The Game is a riot. There’s just something extremely gratifying about a digital Kane Hodder slamming your head in a door over and over and ov- you get the point.
The coolest thing about the game, though, is that the developers, Gun Media and Illfonic have a genuine passion for everything related to Friday the 13th. How many other movie games can pull in the original composer, an incredible effects artist like Tom Savini and everyone’s favorite Jason, Kane Hodder for a video game? That’s why I went through and picked out five of my favorite secrets and easter eggs from the film franchise that made it into the game. Enjoy.
