We’re almost at that glorious time ladies and gentlemen, less than 3 short weeks away till Aliens: Colonial Marines’s February 12th release date, can you feel it? Are you excited do once again return to the Alien universe? Well if you are, then maybe you should check out the new “Kick Ass” trailer to satisfy your insatiable need for more Xenomorph.
Before anyone asks, yes this trailer is officially titled the “Kick Ass” trailer, and despite what the title suggests, I’m not sure many people would label it as such. The voice over played throughout the trailer is delivered in a very hammy way, and the quality of the dialog is pretty atrocious. They were undoubtedly going for a motivational “I am the ULTIMATE badass” themed pep talk, but it just comes off sad and forced in my opinion. Despite all that though, the game still very much as the potential to deliver the engrossing story Aliens fans have been waiting for.
It’s surprising that Gearbox and Sega even felt the need to release this trailer, when they only released their “story trailer” not even a month ago.
