San Diego Comic-Con has begun! At one of the many panels being held at the event, Telltale Games joined Skybound Entertainment to discuss the upcoming season of their Walking Dead game. This is the first time we’re getting new information since the new season was revealed at E3 early last month.
It was once again confirmed that in season 3, we’ll be playing as both Clementine and newcomer Javier – though that doesn’t mean that we’ll be playing as both of them within the same period of time. While Javier is a totally new character, they stated how we may have already helped shape his character with our decisions in the past two seasons.
They also reiterated that this season won’t alienate new players that didn’t get a chance to play seasons 1 and 2 of the game. Newcomers will still get a chance to learn about Clementine’s backstory throughout this new season. And we’re also getting the inclusion of a character many of us have been wondering about: Rebecca’s son, AJ (the baby from the latter half of season 2).
