Senscape Interactive, the developers behind The Asylum with over 40 additional contributors have released Serena, a quick point-and-click adventure for the PC. Serena is about a man sitting alone in a cabin waiting for his wife to arrive (her name is Serena…see what they did there?) Now when I say that Serena is a short game, it really is. It’s more of an interactive narrative, but it’s pretty well done, kind of along the lines of Gone Home or Dear Esther, except you can’t exactly drown in Serena.
Different objects around the single-room cabin evoke memories and those memories string together to tell a disturbing story. Can you see where this is going? No? Well check out Serena on Steam and you’ll see exactly what I mean!
It’s also free!
