Gamers love their swag. And by swag, I mean merchandise. Our shelves are littered with little trinkets and toys (they’re action figures!) from our favourite video games, our walls adorned with posters and framed cells. We wear clothes that advertise to the world that yes, we are gamers. Gaming companies know this and keep us appeased with a ready supply of what I can really only describe as game stuff.
Capcom has partnered up with eyeglass manufacturer Zoff to release a special run of themed glasses based on several of their IPs. Despite the header image, these aren’t quite the Wesker-esque shades that you’d probably already own. The themed eye glasses feature characters in Mega Man style art form on the insides of the arms. In addition to Resident Evil, Capcom will also be releasing Mega Man, Phoenix Wright and Ghosts n’ Goblins themed glasses.
Not quite as suave as Leon’s leather jacket or Jill’s watch. Also probably not nearly as expensive. The glasses will sell for about 5,250 yen ($51USD), but if you–you know, actually need glasses, it’s going to cost you a bit more.
